He has tried numerous cases to verdict in federal and state courts, authored hundreds of briefs, taken countless depositions, and published dozens of articles on a variety of legal topics. As a national trial advocate for one of America's largest companies in some of the most significant U.S. product liability cases ever tried, David became known for his masterful cross-examinations. He is also the only trial lawyer to have won two directed verdicts in tobacco litigation. In addition, David has counseled companies involved in groundbreaking litigation throughout the Americas and the United Kingdom. David previously served as a litigation partner at two prominent international law firms. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University, and his Juris Doctor degree from Georgetown Law.
